Chantal Schrijver

With a background in finance, risk management, and development banking, Chantal has held senior roles at the European Investment Bank, the European Investment Fund, and FMO, the Dutch development bank, where she worked as a banker in Central America and as a risk manager focusing on energy and infrastructure projects. Across these roles, she has built deep expertise at the intersection of public policy, private capital, innovation, and the energy transition.

In her current role, she focuses on mobilizing European capital to support strategic sectors, including clean energy, critical infrastructure, defense and dual‑use technologies, AI, and scale‑ups—contributing to Europe’s broader objectives on strategic autonomy, competitiveness, and resilience.
